Prices and Taxes
All room rates and fees are quoted in the local currency, US Dollar (USD). Denali Riverside Cabins (DRC) reserves the right to change prices at any time; however, confirmed reservations will be honored at the agreed rate, excluding changes in taxes or mandatory government fees.
Cancellations and No Show
Cancellations made outside of 31 days from check-in date will be refunded in in full aside from a 5% cancelation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in date are non-refundable. If booking error occurs on Denali Riverside Cabins end we will refund in full, including taxes & fees. Please be sure to double check your travel dates and/or notify us in advance if your travel dates have changed. We will try to accommodate date changes, but cannot guarantee space will be available. We cannot issue refunds for Covid related cancellations during the non-refundable period. We highly recommend visitors purchase Travel Insurance to cover unexpected medical, accidents, natural disasters and pandemic disruptions. Should a guest’s party not check in for their scheduled reservation, the party forfeits all payments.
Payments and Check In and Check Out
Full payment, including room charges and taxes are required at time of reservation unless otherwise agreed in writing. All properties are self check-in and out; should guests need assistance or help during their stay. They are welcome to reach out to us at (907) 683-1281.
Check in time is 4pm and check-out time is 10am. Late check-outs may be subject to additional charges of $50.00.
Occupancy
All guests must be accounted for when making a reservation. Each cabin’s maximum occupancy is noted in descriptions and must be followed. If guests are found to be over the maximum occupancy, penalties may occur within DRC’s discretion.
Smoking
No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted within any cabin room, nor are guests allowed to smoke on balconies for the comfort of other guests. We ask that if guests must smoke they do so a minimum of 20 feet away from the primary entrance of the cabins.
Any party found to violate our smoking policies will incur a fee of up to $500 dollars.
Wild Animals
Due to our proximity to areas of dense wilderness, it is possible for guests to encounter wild animals while on property. Denali Riverside cabins will make all best efforts to inform guests when concern is especially high, however we recommend guests always to be alert and aware. This is especially important for our off site property the Healy Dry Cabins.
Please follow recommendations of state and local agencies for how best to handle wild animal encounters.
Guests acknowledge that wildlife encounters are an inherent risk of staying in this area and assume all associated risks.
Traveling with Minors
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The Denali Riverside Cabins is not responsible for the supervision of minors at any time. Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the conduct, safety, and compliance of minors with DRC policies.
Accessibility
Our property is not wheelchair accessible. There are stairs throughout the property both inside and outside our cabins. We recommend all guests be able to confidently walk up and down stairs. We welcome Service Animals on the property, but politely ask for notification in advance.
Parking
We have space on our property for each unit to have one car parked on property. If additional parking space is needed please request in advance. If guests have a car or RV of unusual size, please let us know as there is additional parking available for vehicles of that size. Denali Riverside Cabins is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal property left in vehicles. Guests park at their own risk and must comply with all posted parking rules. We reserve the right to tow vehicles in violation of posted parking warnings.
Dispute Resolution and Issues
Guests are encouraged to report any issues or concerns promptly during their stay so we may attempt to resolve them. Any disputes arising from a guest’s stay that cannot be resolved informally shall be governed by the laws of Alaska and the Denali Borough in which Denali Riverside Cabins is located. Legal action, if any, must be brought in the appropriate local courts unless otherwise required by law.
Use of Personal Information
We collect and use personal information solely for purposes related to reservations, guest services, legal compliance, and operational needs. Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. We do not sell guest personal information to third parties.
Liability
Denali Riverside Cabins is not liable for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their personal property except where required by law.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to DRC property during their stay. We reserve the right to charge up to a $500 dollar fee for lost, stolen or damaged property. Additional replacement fees may apply depending on damages done. Use of DRC facilities is at the guest’s own risk.
Force Majeure
Denali Riverside Cabins shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance of its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, labor disputes, pandemics, or utility interruptions. When necessary and possible refunds will be issued in accordance with our responsibility to the guest and our standard cancellation policy.
Waiver of Responsibility
Failure by Denali Riverside Cabins to enforce any provision of these policies at any time shall not be deemed a waiver of the right to enforce such provision in the future.If any provision of these policies is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
